A lot of our displayed pieces are one off, that is the individual piece is available only in the type of timber displayed. Products displayed may not reflect all available stock.  

As timber is a living medium, we cannot guarantee the feature or depth of colour, but we do guarantee the type of timber used. Please be aware that timber is a natural product and variation between timber within a species is absolutely normal. The photographs show a single example and are a guide only. 
Timber will exhibit many characteristics and these can be affected by the way the board is cut from a log, the age of the tree, insect attack, soil type and many other factors. It’s the variance which makes timber such a fantastic medium with which to work and a challenge all in one.

Some of our more functional pieces are made in a variety of timbers.  The variety of timbers are listed against the product for you to choose and each type of timber used is pictured below.
