Bowl – Pecan. Turned green. The term ‘green turned’ refers to timber that is freshly felled with high moisture content, being woodturned . The wavey edge is due to the shrinkage of the timber as it dries out.

Bowl – Cypress Pine, Rectangular in shape with carved texture. This piece was turned in the lathe as is. A little bit like a propeller of a plane. The carved pattern was done after the turning.
