This bowl is ‘green’ turned from freshly felled timber that has been salvaged from the Coffs Coast. It has a subtle wave shape around the rim that is caused by the shrinkage as the wood dries out. Handcrafted by David Barden, Wood We Create.

Bowl – Pecan with Textured and Burnt section of the rim. No.5
Hand turned from Pecan wood, locally sourced and salvaged from the Coffs Harbour area. The bowl was turned ‘green’ and if you look closely you will see the warped edge that is produced as the timber shrinks in the drying process. It has a hand rubbed oil finish to protect and highlight the natural colours of the wood. Handcrafted by David Barden.
