  • Bowl – Red Cedar No.15

    This bowl is turned ‘green’, which is when the wood contains water content. So it is fresh cut and turned within 2 weeks of being felled. The gentle warping occurs as a result of the timber drying out a shrinking. Creating very unique shapes that nature provides. Handcrafted by David Barden, Wood We Create.

  • Bowl – Red Gum Burl No.19

    This bowl is woodturned from Red Gum Burl which nature has provided such beautiful patterns of colour and gum veins, making every one a unique gift. Completed with a hand rubbed oil finish to show off the timbers characteristics. Handcrafted by David Barden, Wood We Create.

  • Bowl – Red gum No.22

    This bowl is made from salvaged wood from the Coffs Coast. Very unusual to find Red Gum in Coffs harbour, as it is not usually found on the Coast. A turned rectangular shape making it as unusual as where the timber originates. The carved and burnt pattern compliments the gorgeous colour of the Red Gum.   • Bowl – Turpentine No.16

    This bowl is ‘green’ turned from freshly felled timber that has been salvaged from the Coffs Coast. It has a subtle wave shape around the rim that is caused by the shrinkage as the wood dries out. Handcrafted by David Barden, Wood We Create.

    Dimensions – 170mm diameter x 95mm high approx.

  • Platter – Red Mahogany No.17

    The gorgeous colour of Red Mahogany always impresses. The wood in this platter is salvaged from the Coffs Coast. Completed with a hand rubbed oil finish. Handcrafted by David Barden, Wood We Create.

  • Platter – Turpentine No.13

    This bowl is made from Turpentine that was salvaged from Coffs Harbour. It is turned ‘green’, which when wood has not dried out. This bowl was completed with 2 weeks of the tree being felled. If you look closely at the shape you will notice that the form is warped. This happens as a direct result of the timber shrinking as it dries out, creating a wonderful shape in the finished bowl.  Handcrafted by David Barden, Wood We Create.
